LORD PROVOST OPENS NEW-LOOK CENTRE

THE new-look Tayside Solicitors Property Centre has been unveiled by Dundee Lord Provost Ian Borthwick.

The refurbished Centre at 11 Whitehall Crescent has undergone a major makeover.

The Lord Provost was impressed, saying: “I’d like to congratulate everyone involved with the TSPC on making the move to these modern and welcoming offices.

“I’m sure it will ensure success for many years to come.”

While the TSPC traces its roots back to a Seagate office, it has called Whitehall Crescent home for decades.

The contemporary premises offer walk-in access at street level.

Browsers and serious buyers alike can take advantage of comfortable surroundings with access to state of the art technology in the shape of contemporary wall-mounted flat screens and tablets.

TSPC manager Lynne Hill said: “Staff, the committee and representatives of member law firms were delighted to welcome the Lord Provost to open the refurbished Centre and again support the Lord Provost’s Charity Fund.”

No one markets more homes across Dundee, Angus and North Fife than the TSPC, which was the second of its kind in Scotland when it was launched in 1971.

“This year, the TSPC handled the sale of nearly 1200 properties by the half way stage, with deals totalling £186 million,” explained Lynne.

“We are welcoming more than 60 new properties onto the books every week.

“Throughout its life, the TSPC has approved ongoing investment to provide the best possible environment for buyers and sellers.
